Davis Financial Planning Elevates Adrianne Gordon to CEO

Davis Financial Planning is pleased to announce Adrianne Gordon as the company’s first Chief Executive Officer.  The Asheville based fee-only financial planning company brought Gordon in as Operations Director in 2020 just as the COVID-19 pandemic hit. “Adrianne came in during a challenging time and was able to help us adjust quickly. In the two years she has been part of our team, she has made a tremendous impact. We welcome her not just as our first CEO but also as a partner in the firm.” said Founder and Senior Financial Planner, Al Davis.

Gordon’s contributions as Operations Director have been far reaching across marketing, technology, human resources, and strategic planning.  “Adrianne brought a wealth of experience in business strategy, process improvements, and facilitation. She has the skills needed to lead us into the future.” said partner and Director of Financial Planning Anne McFarland.

Prior to joining Davis Financial Planning, Gordon was the Director of Business Operations at JB Media Group, a digital marketing agency in Asheville. She came to the private sector after a 10 year career at the North Carolina Small Business & Technology Development Center where she served in various roles including Program Manager for the state’s business disaster recovery loan program.  Gordon has deep roots in the Asheville area where she has been a resident for over 20 years. She is a graduate of Warren Wilson College and holds an MBA from Western Carolina University. Gordon is a Leadership Asheville alumna and is a previous inductee into Asheville’s Forty under 40.
